In the second quarter of 2025, the top-performing News and Magazines applications on Android in Europe exhibited varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at about $121K in early April and closing the quarter around $121K. Weekly downloads experienced a significant rise to over 220K in early May, though they settled at approximately 161K by the end of June. Active users hovered around 33M to 35M throughout the quarter.

For Upday | Local & World News, downloads surged dramatically, especially in late June, reaching a high of nearly 195K. The app maintained a consistent increase in active users, climbing from roughly 216K to over 321K by quarter's end.
